We always pass this colorful building on the way into town, but I never could get a shot I like of it from the car, so this time we stopped, which led to some other interesting things as well.
Tim asked an Arabic speaker what the signs say, and this is what he said:
"On one side of the building, the sign says 'National Prevention Program (Fatten).' 'Fatten' means acumen, intelligence and insight. This is a program by the Ministry of Education for female and male students. In addition, on the other side it says 'Endowment for martyrs of "Al-Hazim Storm",' which is the military operation currently carried out in Yemen."
