Monumental entry

I have been watching this building go up for almost two years now, and every time I see it, it looks even better than before. I imagine when it’s finished (mainly the other side of it now), it will be spectacular. I still don’t know what it will be, though, but I suspect a government building (in which case I will no longer be able to photograph it, so might was well get my fill now!).

Update: I have just learned what this building is going to be, at least what the sign on one of the entries says: Mosques management and religious promotion and guidance. I’m sure they will be a very busy office here.

The front of the building -- which always seems like the back to me because it’s on a back street – that has appeared in the last several pictures. It’s still one big construction site, which I probably wasn’t supposed to be on.

Impressive architecture. Turrets, arches, columns, crenelated roof lines, all in the same building. V
