Interesting mix of architectural styles

I have been watching this building go up for almost two years now, and every time I see it, it looks even better than before. I imagine when it’s finished (mainly the other side of it now), it will be spectacular. I still don’t know what it will be, though, but I suspect a government building (in which case I will no longer be able to photograph it, so might was well get my fill now!).

Update: I have just learned what this building is going to be, at least what the sign on one of the entries says: Mosques management and religious promotion and guidance. I’m sure they will be a very busy office here.

An unusual minaret, posted earlier:

You're right it's a government building for the ministry :) but also a part of the diriyah museum.

An enormous contrast of styles, but it works very well. A very fine picture of this marvelous building.

Beautiful brown tone and should be a great site when it is finished. Marvelous details on the building ground, Helen. V
