We said goodbye to Marrakech and drove to Essaouira, a fishing port and tourist town on the Atlantic Ocean. It was a pleasant drive through rolling hills and orchards of argan trees, from which a marvelous oil for cosmetic use comes.
We stopped to see if goats really did climb argan trees to eat the leaves, and apparently they do, or at least the goatherds put them up there to eat the leaves, or maybe both.
Another young goat that was shown to me that was too cute to leave out. At least it didn’t eat any of my hair!
