The Fes medina has some 9,100 streets; this is one of them, wide enough for the passage of only one person. I’m not even sure a donkey, the primary means of transport in this car-less walled city, could get through here.
I’ll have to catch up with commenting after I get back from taking Sahraa for a walk. For those who have been asking, Tim still is on crutches and in a wheelchair, and will be for at least another three weeks. The fracture sustained in Morocco hasn’t healed as quickly as expected, so pretty much everything around the house falls to me now, including several hours a day walking the dog (which is killing me time-wise, as much as I love her). It’s incredibly frustrating for Tim not to be able to get around easily, and the inability to drive has also proven problematic in a country where women are forbidden by law to get behind the wheel of a car.
