A market scene in the Chefchaouen medina. Unlike in Saudi Arabia, where women must dress in black, the women in Morocco generally wore brightly colored djellabas (long, often hooded robes). I bought one in Fes that is brilliant green with bright pink embroidery, although not sure how I’ll ever wear it here!
It was hard to photograph such scenes in Morocco as the people don't much like their picture to be taken. I asked the tour guide if I could photograph this, and he said, yes, but do it quickly.
