Our next destination was the blue city of Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains in northwest Morocco, just inland from Tangier. I’m posting a few pictures from the road because I was amazed at how green the Moroccan countryside was. Agriculture is the country’s primary industry, and that’s obvious as soon as you leave the major cities. Our driver had told us that the landscape changes every few minutes, and indeed, it really did, with never a dull moment on the hours-long drive.
