The innovative architecture in downtown Doha was one of the big attractions of the city for me – it seemed like every building must have been approved for a unique design that would only contribute to the striking skyline because there wasn’t a boring, boxy building among them.
Well, I’m on the home stretch of this gallery, just four images left, two of which have been seen in some version before. This was a shopping center near our hotel (which reminds me I haven’t quite finished the main Doha gallery), with some beautifully lit up buildings above it (pictured below in daylight):
