The innovative architecture in downtown Doha was one of the big attractions of the city for me – it seemed like every building must have been approved for a unique design that would only contribute to the striking skyline because there wasn’t a boring, boxy building among them.
I don’t know the name of this building (featured in an earlier picture), but it certainly had an unusual base. When I saw it, my first thought was: Who would do that to such a stunning building?
