The innovative architecture in downtown Doha was one of the big attractions of the city for me – it seemed like every building must have been approved for a unique design that would only contribute to the striking skyline because there wasn’t a boring, boxy building among them.
We had seen this from the road and ended up walking quite a ways to see it up close. I could never figure out what it was, just that it sat at the base of a skyscraper.
