Picnic in privacy

I guess this picture isn’t too interesting, but I thought the idea was. This is a private picnic enclosure, one of many that line the road overlooking Al Elb Dam in the picture below. Saudis do value their privacy tremendously, so this setup allows every family to picnic without the prying eyes of other picnickers or passersby.

I can understand the feel of privacy they need. Not Always Obvious in a barren landscape. Besides that, they should learn to clean up after they leave, it's so much nicer for the next visitor.

The people have to use the desert to the fullest so they can enjoy it. Your photos are so very interesting to see how real life is. Nice work ! V
