We drove all around old Diriyah, but the weather was ugly and it just wasn’t a great day for pictures, although I took some anyway, to justify the trip.
We ran across this construction of a traditional gate far beyond where we usually go in Diriyah. I can’t even imagine why they’re building it in the middle of the wadi or who will ever see it. We have been to this town many times, and this was the first time we’ve even been in this remote area.
