Unusual sight, and a scare

This was a very unusual sight I encountered in Malmö. I don’t know what they were selling.

It’s been a bit tense around here today as one American was killed and another was injured in a shooting http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/15/world/middleeast/saudi-arabia-gunman-shoots-vinnell-arabia-employees.html?_r=0http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/15/world/middleeast/saudi-arabia-gunman-shoots-vinnell-arabia-employees.html?_r=0

And then to top it off, somebody tried to break into our property this evening, when I was home alone. Sahraa, to her credit, barked when she heard somebody trying to open the gate (which she never does, so I knew something was up), and then I saw the shadow of a person in front of it and heard him fooling with the lock. He was caught and turns out he was trying to get into the house next door, I was told, but it was a pretty tense evening for me, too.

I am glad you are OK. It sounded very scary!
It looks like a "cigar store Indian." What an interesting find in Eurpoe! Very well composed. V

Glad you have Sahraa! She deserves an extra treat. Glad to hear that he was caught and you are all okay.

Neat image! I like the Indian chief seen through the shop window peeking over the flag.

A couple things. I wonder if this isn't adveristing for the boot company on the window? You would never see a native Amercaian, this buffed!!!! There is another indian inside the store. Glad that Sahraa is protecting you. Our dogs are part of our famalies. Give her some extra love. V.

a different version of the stars and stripes, perhaps validating native rights.. hopefully the shooting and attempt break-in are one-off events...the struggle with IS militants could eventually have serious repercussions though...those extremists seem determined and capable..

A very tense time lately - Sahraa deserves double treats for her vigilance. I hope these are isolated incidents and nothing else occurs. Meanwhile, super photo. V

Egads. That intruder incident was pretty scary. Glad Sahraa was there to protect you.

Well, I thought you'd gone back to The Stages for a minute. Think these wooden Indians were used for selling tobacco - there's one in the museum in Dundalk.
Oh dear, I'm not surprised it's a tense time and Sahraa certainly did a good job. V
