Fountain and water channel

The interior of one of the pavilions, with a fountain (and my shadow!) in view. This garden had a fascinating water system, with water flowing down through the three levels of the grounds in channels into a large fountain on the bottom level. One of the channels is shown here.

A most wonderful building. The system of watering the gardens is very old. I have visited these kind of gardens in Kashmir which were build by the moghul emperors.
