Camels at last

I kept asking during our jaunt in the desert if there weren’t some camels around somewhere, but apparently they don’t frequent those canyons. On our way up the mountain for a view of the area, though, these two were just waiting for me. The one on the right looked as though it might come over to the car to sample my camera, but sadly thought better of it.

Haven't seen one of these for a while !! That terrain on the side of what looks like a road looks terrible - such a harsh place V

This desert of rocks, behind camels, is impressive. A beautiful view. V

What trip would be complete without a camel image?

Do these belong to someone or are they just in the wild?

I'm sorry you didn't get a questing camel face investigating whatever you were up to. I look forward to the next camel muzzle you manage to capture with your lens. V, nevertheless. Lovely colour. Yarn woven from their fur/hair would be a delicate colour.
