...until next year, that is! I don't know what this building was, but I liked the architecture, the decoration and the nicely backlit and highly stylized Arabic script.

I have uploaded nine pictures today and think I'll end this gallery here. I had been waiting to go to this festival since almost the day we arrived in Saudi Arabia, in October, and after the false start, when our scheduled trip was canceled two hours before we were due to leave, both days that I attended it were more interesting than I could have imagined. The exhibits from various parts of the country were informative, but the best part to me was the people I saw (and the fact that I was free for once to take as many pictures as I wanted).

Thanks to all for your great comments and votes! I'm pleased I could give a brief insight into Saudi culture and am already looking forward to going back next spring!
