Back to where we started

We bade our new friends farewell and promised to return. In fact, we have been invited to go back after the end of January, when the head of the household will be back in the country. I'm quite looking forward to it!

They were kind enough to close the front gate for me so I could get a full shot of it, although by this time it was getting pretty dark. When we drove by yesterday, it was shut.

That is a beautiful gate. The patterns seem out-of-place, looking more like Aboriginal or Native American art.
