Couldn't find a Nikon store

But the Canon one looked pretty nice.

I hope to catch up this evening as I spent my usually quiet morning before work fighting with painters, plumbers, furniture movers and facilities maintenance people. I am learning that you really have to stand your ground here and not accept excuses for poor workmanship and such. It's actually too unbelievable to even relate here ;-).

Except for the Arabic script could be anywhere in the world. Where the prices reasonable?. As there are no shoppers to be seen, what is financing all this.... Is it just Oil Dollars generating a false sense of wealth. The Oil is not going to last forever and than what will happen to the affluence we see. Can the country derive other income - tourists are not going to visit in the masses with all the rules and restrictions.

Strange that where everything looks so perfect, basic stuff, plumbers, etc. leave a lot to be desired !! Nicely composed shot - Of course Canon rules :) !

A very different world - you can buy cameras but not use them everywhere.

This could be any mall anywhere, apart from the Arabic writing! Still surprises me. So one can buy the latest camera equipment, but not use it in the streets, I guess. V

I like the simple colour scheme, red, white and black :-)
