We're in Washington this week, but no DC pictures yet, sorry! I had to go back to work today so got up at 3 a.m. as I used to do when I lived here and finished up at 11:30 a.m., which is nice because it's sort of like two days in one. Anyway, I'm terribly behind with Pbase so will try to catch up this evening!

I did look at and play with a couple of small "covert" cameras that will fit under an abaya and won't be as obvious as my D800 for use in Riyadh -- a Sony RX1 (wow, what a beautiful camera, despite the lack of a zoom with its fixed 35mm lens) and the Sony RX100 II, which is probably more practical but doesn't feel nearly as nice in the hand. I also saw the Nikon A, which was recommended for this purpose. Decisions, decisions (but the fun kind this time ;-)).
