This neo-classical building used to be the home of the Riga Commercial Bank. An allegorical composition the symbolizes wealth and welfare can be seen along with the coat of arms of the city of Riga.
Almost all of the images I've posted thus far have been from Riga's "Art Nouveau District," which has an abundance of spectacular and beautifully restored Art Nouveau buildings. It's so famous, it's quite the tourist destination here. This current series of images is of Art Nouveau buildings around town, of which there are more than 800.
