drydock

I see this old boat near my house every morning on the drive to work and always think about how nice
it looks in the warm morning light. But I'd never photographed it before. Today I had with me the
new (old/used/converted) Nikkor-P 105mm f/2.5 and thought, "why not?... I'll be late this morning!"

Shot wide open (almost) and uploaded at a little higher size and quality than I normally use to
illustrate just how good this old (37 yrs old!) lens still is. With a D3... lots of pics left in it!

I like the textures in this, I want to reach out and pick off a chip of that cracking, fading paint!
