Now this has been done right... mostly because I found exactly the right cans. :)
Taken with my (converted) Nikkor-P 105mm f/2.5 (vintage 1973) used, manual focus lens.

Off-camera flash : Distance to middle subject approx 48 inches (1.22m) : Can separation = 4 inches (102mm) : Focus point at Leaf below "ne".
