On October 31 I ran in the Dublin City Marathon. Julie and I then rented a car and drove around as much of the countryside as we could manage in the next 9 days. Even though I took almost 1000 pictures, I'm a bit disappointed with the results: a good excuse to return. Many gorgeous views were from the roads of Ireland which typically have no shoulders. Hence it is quite often virtually impossible to stop and take photos from the vicinity of your car
