We drove most of the way around the Ring of Kerry but only stopped at a couple of places. In particular, we drove over the bridge onto Valencia Island. We then parked and walked over a mile up a cliffside path to a promontory overlooking the Atlantic from which we could see the Skelligs (dimly through haze and glare). I wanted to take a boat ride to the actual islands but they weren't running for various reasons. Big disappointment
