A similar example found in Latvia is in the British Museum, acquired 1852 (0329.232) https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/object/H_1852-0329-232), described as Finno-Ugrian, found at Aizkraukle, Latvia and once part of the collection of Professor Johann Karl Bähr (1801-1869) who held a chair first as the Riga Academy of Art and subsequently at Dresden. He began to form an archaeological collection of mainly Balt and Finno-Ugrian material following the floods along the River Daugava (Duna) in summer 1837.
