~GRANOLA~
Dry ingredients:
10 c. old fashioned oats (2.5 lbs)
2 c. wheat germ
1 ˝ c. unsweetened shredded coconut
1 c. raw sunflower seeds
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. chopped peanuts
1 c. sesame seeds
Syrup:
Ľ tsp salt
2 c. Sucanat (less sweet)/brown sugar (sweeter)
1 ˝ c. canola or safflower oil
2/3 c. water
1 tbs vanilla
Ľ tsp almond extract
1. Mix dry ingredients in a large pan
2. In a separate bowl, whisk syrup ingredients
3. Coat dry ingredients with the syrup
4. Bake in a shallow pan @ 275° F, stirring every 20 minutes until desired brownness is achieved.

Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 275 degrees F...
