Habitat: Desert towns.
Best location: Roadrunner Club in Borrego Springs.
Note: Expanding from the east. First noted in Borrego Springs in 1992, seen sporadically until December 2013, from which time a single bird became resident with up to 6 birds in 2015 and 3 birds in 2016, plus 1 or 2 nearby at Rams Hill. Up to 5 birds in town of Ocotillo from 2011-2013.
