Waterhead & Ambleside

Waterhead Bay in Ambleside is a pleasant little bay with river cruises on Lake Windermere.
The view across the lake is very beautiful indeed & the day I visited it the sun was shining. Ambleside is a nice town with good shops, pubs and restaurants.
It is also famous for its Bridge House that stands over Stock Beck and dates back to the 17th Century.
