I encountered this hawk (I'm almost certain it is the same one), last week (October 2 or 3, 2006) riding my bike through Mooney's Bay Park. It was being harassed (or had been harassing) some seagulls and crows because they were very agitated. As I was looking to see what was causing the excitement, the hawk flew at me from behind and crossed right in front of me. I was amazed at how large it was. It flew about half way up the hill at Mooney's Bay and sat on the side of the hill for several minutes. I stopped to watch until it flew away, to the North and Vincent Massey Park.
