Beautiful photos! My husband and I biked the Cabot Trail with our friends many times and on one of those trips we were joined by a moose at the top of a mountain after we had all made it to the summit. The perfect prize for our hard work!

just like to say your pics are amazing.
My fiance and I travelled to NS last summer and loved it (2 week road trip). Never seem any moose though (Damn). Where were most of the sightings.
My aunt lives in Sydney still (Dad form there and my mom is from Dartmounth) and she has never seen a moose. Shes 60 and I told her she was crazy.
I see tons of websites showing moose pics on CB island. Must be VERY rare though.

My next trip is already being planned.

I live in South Harbour on the Cabot Trail in one of the most beatuiful parts of Cape Breton. South Harbour Beach is the most amazing sight you will ever see, an endless view of Sand, water and mountians.....and I am serious when I say endless!!Don't be shy come on and see for yourself you wont regret it....

Thanks Thomas and Guest. You might see moose depending on where in Nova Scotia you are visiting. I don't know about Puffins this late into the year but whales are likely still around if you can find a whale tour operator still open. I wish you a great time in Nova Scotia and Happy 20th Wedding Anniversary!

I did the Cabot Trail too. It was amazing, specially the moose. The weather didn't cooperate as well for me though, you were lucky. How come no pictures of you?
