1105 Overwater Bungalow

At first these bungalows looks so romantic, with these curve shaped over water walkways, azure
waters beneath and stairs to swim. In fact, on the outside they look virtually the same. They
occupy a lot of space in the shallows and the plumbing is expensive. Compared to regular hotel
rooms they are very few, and this explains the extreme cost for staying in them. $600 per person is not
a rare occurrence. Naturally, the French believe that they are environmentally sound, causing merely
"punctual raptures" in the coral for the stilts, others call this a severe mistake and warn about their
impact on the nature. Either way, this Water Bungalow became virtually a symbol of French Polynesia.
