Pueblo Bonito, Chaco Canyon, New Mexico

people have lived here for 10,000 years, but the Chacoan Culture arose about 1,000 years ago...this large kiva, located in the central plaza at Pueblo Bonito, was a centre for social and ceremonial activities, and in the past would have been covered with a roof
