In july 2012 I sold my Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens and bought a Canon 180mm f/3.5 macro instead. My interests have always gone beyond birds but before I bought this great lens, photographing anything but birds (and the occasional mammal) wasn't something I loved doing. That has now changed and I sure hope my macro-photographs will greatly improve in time.
