I found this photo of mine at Flickr. I really like this one. It's of a cosmos, edited with a purple tint obviously. This flower was in the yard, I'd planted some before although now if they come up they are just lucky repeats.
More later...
Having trouble getting my pics to recompress.
I'm a bit tired of the internet altogether, but...haven't worked out a plan yet.
We had an enjoyable Easter.
This is another rerun.
I had an entry almost all typed and then somehow I hit a wrong button and -- poof!
Sigh.
Now I don't feel like trying to say it all again.
I didn't take my camera with me today and so of course I saw 6 beautiful deer standing and grazing in a field along a nearby road. They were adorable!
Okay, there's my pic. The buds on one of the maple trees.
I'm forced to get rid of a few pieces of my (old and shaky, anyway) furniture. Just toooo crowded in here! I've decided to make a second spot in the house to play my musical instruments, since my prime spot -- though it's great -- is inhabited by an extremely LOUD, crazy cockatoo. There are times when I'd like to play music without the screams.
Bubbles is walking around now like he needs to go outdoors...back later....
Did I say 'a few pieces?' Just one, really. An old piano bench. It's a fine old bench, other than being just a bit shaky from age. I wish I could keep it but I need more space. (Got it for free...so I'll pass it on for the same!)
Still trying to lose the last traces of this...cold? flu? Whatever. It's a clinger. I'm not bad enough to make anyone else sick, just can't quite get over the last bit of blah.
Am I unknowingly drinking some kind of magnetic water? Is it my hand cream? This thing keeps typing like I've got it on a huge magnet. Ahh, groan. Anyway. Gotta go.
photo rerun today, 20-MAR-2016
He's still cute today, about a year after this photo was taken.
One day, in a haste and so weary from toil,
It's note is a high one; no subtle, earth scent;
Then, this seemed quite funny; we laughed! The name stuck.
For, I know -- 'pelargonium' is the real name;
This is a very old re-re-rerun. But today I changed my user name back to geranimom (from Moons-Ago Tunes) so that made me look for this picture and poem.
...We have had a lot of it this afternoon. Storms looming on the fringes of the area but not really much for us directly.
This photo is a re-edited oldie. I fixed it up today to use it at bandcamp with my song, 'It's Just The Wind.'
Have felt kind of lousy today from a head cold. Taking a little bit of Dayquil...it helps. Woke up tired to begin with, too much on my agenda for starters, and then my dog ran off! I was very worried about it because I didn't know from any previous experience if he would find his way back home. But, he did! I was in the middle of making 'Lost Dog' posters to put up when I went outside to look just one more time, and there he was, sauntering up the walk on the side of the house...he enjoyed his little romp around the area, though I have no idea where he went.
Yeah, I know. I gotta do some house-cleaning.
Just yesterday I received my two ghost bar stools. I've tried one while playing my foot bass and it works out fine, is much better than the pinhead-type stool I was sitting on before.
I have five of the clear chairs for the kitchen table, but yesterday I brought back the burgundy stacking chair into the kitchen, so anyone apprehensive about the polycarbonate chairs (...they are very sturdy, but take some getting used to) can plop onto the regular one.
My house is not at all fancy so the 'outdoor' chairs in the 'cubbyhole' room are just fine, they don't look weird in there. And who cares if they do?
More to prattle on about but I will stop here for now. Busy, and also, this laptop keyboard is still acting up a bit...I don't think it is entirely my hands at fault! I have to type very slowly and deliberately. Correcting a lot. It's driving me nuts.
