Happy New Year!
I hope 2023 will be a good one.
An Amazing Mix
The red berry Juce and the unsweetened So Delicious non-dairy yogurt are great together.
SIGH. Mother Nature....
I SAID, No Christmas Tree This Year!
The Sun Rises In The Garage
So that's what goes on in there!
Would have gladly served but not this year!
...and I'd already used my postphonement option.* So it's a relief that this is now a closed book.
Actually, for the record, I don't know that I would have had that option. I'm confused a little because I received two jury duty summons around the same time (the higher court summons cancels the lower). I was able to postphone the first one....Anyway, all done!
Wearing My Hearing Aid This Morning
A Surprise For The Squirrels
I went to Tractor Supply to look for the coveralls he wanted. No such duds so I got a squirrel feeder instead. Lol.
Someday I'll Get A Good Recording Of This...
I used to play this on the piano accordion (PA) but I will work it out with an English concertina (no longer play the PA). This is my silly turkey song...there is one more verse to it, too, that I wrote later. I am just a wee bit proud of the fact that I managed to progress around the Circle Of Fifths with 11 consecutive chords in one part, and that I used so many chords in this (more than 3!).
The progression of fifths (okay, so maybe it's a progression of fourths, technically or depending on where you're standing) starts at the chorus. The Bb7 moves 'down' to an Eb7, then the chords progress around the circle all the way to a C. (Yup, I prefer to call a Db7 a C#7, etc..)
Oat & Date Milk
Very good. I added some cinnamon to my cup and put the remaining milk into thermal bottles to keep it warm. It'll get me through the day!
This morning around 6:30 AM.
My recent photos have been fuzzy...my camera and my phones all seem to be 'off' lately.
Busy now...car is already started. Maybe I can worry about my camera some more, later.
A Squirrel Feasting On The Seed Block
Gotta keep these guys happy and fed!
Tried another MioMat recipe
Made a nice breakfast.
So far, I've made several batches of oat milk and some cashew milk. It's nice to be able to add or omit whatever extra ingredients I want. And I love not having milk cartons or bottles to have to throw away or recycle! I'm using less packaging for other things, too -- I now buy a shampoo soap bar and so there's no plastic bottle involved. We still have plenty of recycling around here, but we're doing better.
A new tunebook
I never really rely on my tiny tunebooks, but yet I'm lost without them. They are memory jogs, at least, when playing music.
I made creamy corn soup
Used the MioMat and the Ninja
Transcription to Eb From G
The songbook has it in G but to play along with a CD I have I needed it in Eb.
This is a Robert Burns songs...the words, anyway. The tune is by...?? I dunno.
It's old and traditional.
Getting Ready To Try The MioMat
Soon I won't have to buy my plant milk at the grocery store anymore.
Willie Brew'd A Peck O' Maut
Just kinda got stuck on this weird little old Robert Burns song.
The petunias Tom gave me on Mother's Day
Got these at Walmart today
Hmm! Just about forgot I have this Pblog. I'll get back to it.
Lille & Vegard
And the cat...ha ha. Pointy Pink Ears Club?
My birthday flowers
Here it is, almost May.
So I'll get started on my
PBlog for this year!
