We met our friends at the end of Goose Pen Pond Road about 3:00 that afternoon. The spoonbill were resting in Spring Creek Pond just north and east of the parking area. This was just the second time I had seen Roseate Spoonbill in Oklahoma. The first was in August of 2008 in southeast McCurtain County and I was unable to capture a photograph at that time. So, these are my first Oklahoma photographs.
