Dahl's frog, Ranoidea dahlii

Lambells Lagoon, NT Australia

Looking happily content on a lily pad, these very aquatic frogs are rumoured to be able to eat the larvae of Cane toads without ill
effect. This specimen was observed in close proximity to an adult toad, I couldn't see any young toads nearby. Hopefully Dahl's
frogs and Keelbacks will be the front line of defence in our wetlands.

This animal has only tentitavely placed in Ranoidea.
