Aussie Frogs

Australia has a wonderful range of fascinating frog species. One of the most appealing things about frogs for the photographer (compared to reptiles) is the way that they conveniently fit within the rectangular frame of a viewfinder.
Unfortunately, frogs are seriously threatened by changes in water quality, by loss of habitat, by competition with and predation by introduced predators, by climate change and by an insidious fungus.

Alexander, I really enjoyed this gallery. Frogs are worth protecting and these images show them at their best. I'd love to know how you managed to photograph so many different species.

Great to see all your new photos Alex. I'm sorry your were assulted by the bronzed character in Broome........although I had to laugh! Your clearly very strong minded because you've frozen him like stone-cold. I like the little waterfall frog and the splendid tree frog. Just another reminder....in case you didn't already know - you're VERY talented!
