Dryosophus pearsoniana

Durroghby NSW

Okay, this frog does look remarkably like Dryosophus phyllochroa, I'll be the first to admit. But there was a frog calling from the
bush where I found this that had the distinctive two voiced call of Dryosophus pearsoniana, even though they are supposed to be
bigger than this. So I am a little confused.

On page 5 of "A Classification of the Amphibia and Reptilia of Australia" by Richard Wells and Ross Wellington, they mention "We
believe there is an undescribed member of the species complex in northern New South Wales, but have deferred describing it
pending publication of research by Dr Micheal Tyler."
