Spotted Marsh Frog, Limnodynastes tasmaniensis

Coolatai NSW

Spotted Marsh frogs are amongst the most common frogs in Eastern Australia. They tend to live amongst dense vegetation and in
earth cracks, emerging on humid nights to forage on insects. Considering the huge numbers that these frogs sometimes achieve,
the number of insects they must consume must be astronomical.
