Ayers Rock

Ayers Rock/Uluru is supposed to be the biggest monolithic rock in the world, raising 348m/1160ft above ground. It is a sacred place for the local aboriginal tribes, and several areas around the rock are closed for tourists. We made the Uluru Circuit Walk ( 10km/6miles) around the base, which gives access to several water holes, caves ( some with painting) and offers many pleasant views of the always changing view of Uluru.
