The Naga (Naqa ) site dates from the 4th Century BC to the 4th Century AD and the two most significant Temples are the Apedemak and Amun Temples
The Apedemak Temple shown here was founded by King Natakamani and he and his wife are shown on the entrance pylon of the main building.
The Temple is a classic example of Kushite architecture, additionally exhibiting some classic Ancient Egyptian architecture shown in the massive entrance pylons and gateway
