04 May
dusk

I hope you'll forgive me if I'm slow to comment this week but as you know, I've been away and tomorrow I'm interviewing Deputy Heads for our school from 9.00 - 6.00 so I need to read the papers tonight. If not before, I'll catch up at the weekend.

This is a shot from the front of the house. Almost all of our street is original victorian houses but there's a small low rise block of flats at the end - that area was bombed in the war. Not that I was there personally, but I do have a map of the area showing such things - and including the location of the home for loose women.

interesting shot.
the house's lines are so clean it almost looks fake.
love how the sky gradients from blue to a subtle purple.

very simple. hey that house is not getting all the tv reception (it has only half an antenna). :)

for a person that doesn't seem to enjoy map-reading , you sure have a lot of maps for everything. ^_~

yeh- it does remind me of Mary Poppins, you should do another one with Mr Man peeping out the chimney!

mmm - where do you get one of those maps from ?
lovely graduated blue on this.

Nice simple image, Gail.
Let me know if the loose women are still there ;-)

Makes me think of Mary Poppins. Nice tones to the sky Gail & wonderful that your Victorian was saved from that terrible bombing.

Loose women??? They let them loose in the UK? LOL
I like the blue gradient Gail! Don't worry about comments for me,
you got more important things going on.

I really like the sky color.

Minimalistic shot!! You are lucky enough to see original victorian houses all around you and not apartment buildings!
By the way the sky has a beautiful sweet colour.

I love the composition with the roof in silhouette and the excellent blue sky. Good luck with the interviewing.
