Seven-spotted lady beetle (Coccinella septempunctata)

I often see ladybeetles of various species on milkweeds, particularly when the oleander aphids are present. This non-native species has been deliberately introduced to control aphids, and quite likely, if you have bought bags of ladybeetles as a natural aphid control, it will be this species in the bag.
