This is our dear friend Katie. She's been a part of our family as long as we can remember. She grew up
2 doors down from Margaret back in the "hood", and I dated her older sister way back in the day. She
also stayed with us for a while when things weren't going so well for her. She's posed for me on numerous
occasions despite being very uncomfortable in front of the camera.

She stopped over today to see me before heading over to the baby shower that Margaret is putting on
for our sister-in-law today. She's been such a good friend to me that there was no way she wasn't
going to be my PAD for today. I love her with all of my heart, like the sister I never had.

Lighting is simple afternoon window light with Katie sitting in front of the best spot to take
natural light photos in my house. The wallpaper that we have on that wall is so much like a gray
muslin. I just love how my shots look taken in this spot.
