After a long day at work, a four and a half hour drive, a few drinks, and a long nights rest,
we were up and at 'em Saturday morning for some family time. The gals left for the farmers
market early and I stayed with the boys. Margaret picked up all kinds of goodies, with Amish
made pickles being my favorite. Sweet sour garlic dill. Yummy stuff.
After they got back, we got the boys dressed and went outside to spend some time in the garden.
Ed's got a trap out there for woodchucks and other critters that generally make a mess of
Maralee's garden. Well today they caught a rabbit. This was no ordinary rabbit either. He was
amped up and pissed off. I got one good shot of him holding still before we let him go. I'll
post the shot in the critters gallery later.
After the rabbit took off for home, we just walked around the garden and looked at all the
flowers. I took quite a few good shots too. Wasn't expecting much this late in the season, but
I was pleasantly surprised.
I snagged this shot of Margaret and Eli on the covered swing by the edge of the garden.
