Been putting in some overtime this week, just about every day. And it couldn't come at a better time. So I haven't had a lot of time to play with any studio lights. Well, we came back from dinner at Subway tonight and everyone was relaxing upstairs, so I came down to catch up on some pbase galleries and play with the strobes a little. I came across something I wanted to try, so I thought who better to come down than #1 son.


I picked up this black fabric shower curtain a while back, but never really played with it much. I was shooting the strobe at it from right behind the model as I usually do, but realized that it had enough transparency that I could backlight it and show off the texture of the fabric. So I put the gelled strobe behind the curtain and fired away. I like it. Not sure if I like the vertical stripes or not. I'll have to play with that.
