Your site is one of the most interesting and easy to navigate I've come across in a long time. Thank you for sharing. It's clear you take great pride in your family. One question, which Phillip Firebaugh lived to be 75+ yrs. old (tombstone inscription)? Was this Heinrich's son, the Revolutionary War patriot? I might have my info all messed up.

What a real treat Tom has presented to us. It is a preservation of some special times and people who worked and marched very hard for us to enjoy our present day lifestyles--just think about it...
As usual, his incredible, beautiful photography sweeps us away with the crisp colors of the earth and sky and all that is in between too. The precise details are marvelous. He captures it all.

Enlarging and reading about each photo made me happy all over.

How fortunate to have people caring enough to help maintain the beauty and peace there in the cemetery.
Does someone pay them a little ?????? Can we contact them ?

When Herman (my dad) was researching all the the history--his genealogy worksheets have enabled his 2 girls, (Sarah and myself) and also the girls of his brothers, and sisters to become DARs {Daughters of the American Revolution}and the boys to become Sons of the AR--so grab your research pencils and get yourselves joined up. The Colonial Dams of Virginia is also open for membership No better state in the USA than to join in Virginia our true homeland..,, and the nation's homeland.. The paperwork can be acquired thru the libraries and the national archives.You can get into the NSDAR on-line.

We are a lucky family--and how proud I still am and will remain to be a FIREBAUGH forever.

Thanks Tom for your reverence and caring about all of us and our history.I know Ralph is tapdancing too over your beautiful collection.
Your relatives have been so proud of everything you have done back there in your business--- ( and even getting in a Tom Cruise movie :))))) Way to go !!
