Goodbye to Winter - I Hope!

This photo was actually made on the second day of spring!
During our recent snow storm, besides our cherry tree going down, the rhododendron in our front yard was a little worse for wear.
Surprisingly, it still has blossoms on it and looks pretty.

Wow, that really is a bunch of heavy snow! Amazingly enough, that is probably more than we had in Ohio all Winter!

Wonderful capture. So sad what Mother Nature will do. I had the same thing happen with the frost this week. lots of brown and burned edges on the blooms. :-( V

Wow. That is often what it looks like we get. By Sunday (April 1) it is predicted to be 87° here. It has been at or near 80° for the past week and predicted to stay the same for the next 7 days.

Looks good to me, here in Texas! We didn't get any white stuff in our area this year! Looks really pretty with the flowers underneath it.
