One of the Good Ones

Goshen Ohio Knot Hole Umpires

Not all the umpires were bad, this young man seemed to be fair.
But others have told me not always, he was towards us.

@Guest, he was the best of any of them, it is the leadership that seems to be the problem.
It is over for us, very sad way to end a teams time together.
Most went off to HS, so it goes, seems they are well known.

As the parent of a child who often plays at Goshen, we have had a lot of these umps, and I find it ironic that you think this young man is the best of all of them. There have been many times I have seen him more degrading than many of the other umps you have pointed out. Did you ever think that maybe it was the way they were treated?
